And then there were four... In this episode of From Berlin to Doha, we discuss the quarter-final games, including Morocco's shocking defeat of the Portuguese team, and England falling to the reining World Champion France (plus a late NED-ARG report). We start off by analyzing how Portugal's attack was unable to penetrate the Moroccan defense in their last match, resulting in a surprising 1-0 victory for the underdogs. Then we discuss how France pulled off a thrilling 2-1 victory over England in a closely-contested match. Despite the English squad missing a penalty kick in the dying minutes of the game, the reigning World Champions held on for a hard-fought win. ---- FC BERLIN is a semi-professional club that participates in the UPSL and UWS.
