FC Berlin kept its dreams of making the playoffs alive last Sunday, beating Caledon United FC by a score of 2-1. All of the goals came in the last 10 minutes of play, after a highly contested game. April Syme scored in the 32nd minute, with Keira Kent extending the lead just three minutes later. The home team managed to find the back of the net in the dying seconds of the match, but that play pretty much marked the end of the bout.
With this win, FC Berlin moves to a 2-0-5 record and keeps its hopes of making the semifinals alive. It looks like a very difficult task, as there are only three games left in the regular season, and they will see our team facing the top three squads in the league. However, the ladies are playing well so we are hopeful!
